Indonesian International Student Mobility Awards (IISMA) is going to be opened on February 2023, Thursday (31/1) through Global Engagement of Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Surabaya (Genus), Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Surabaya encourages the students to join IISMA 2023 held by Directorate General of Higher Education, Research, and Technology, Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology.
First vice Rector of Unusa, Prof. Kacung Marijan PhD encourages Unusa students to join IISMA 2023 to get International exposure. “Through this program, the students can learn and blend with local and International students in the best world universities and industries,” said Kacung
Kacung expects that in 2023, there will be Unusa students who join the IISMA program and get the opportunity to study overseas. “Because this program is organized well by the government to give International exposure to Indonesian students,” explained Kacung.
The event entitled “Get Ready for Indonesian International Student Mobility Awards 2023” with the speaker Aisya Zukhrufa Rahma M. Awardee IISMA 2022 in Monash University, Melbourne, Australia explains about the program and provides tips and tricks to win IISMA.
“You have to research and decide the host University that you want, you have to arrange the strategy to compete with other participants” Said Aisya.
She also suggests to Unusa students to prepare for the English Proficiency Test, “One of the eligibility from this program is that you have to fulfill the required English proficiency, so you can start to learn by taking an English course or doing exercise on a website” said her. (nrl/adm)
