Surabaya – Samahana Fitria, a Nursing undergraduate student at Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Surabaya (Unusa), officially bid farewell to Rector of Unusa, Prof. Dr. Ir. Achmad Jazidie, M.Eng, before embarking on a five-month credit transfer program at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). The farewell meeting took place on Friday, March 7th, 2025, in the Rector’s room.
Samahana will join the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Department of Nursing at UPM, where she will enhance her academic experience and broaden her international exposure. During this moment, she is accompanied by the Head of the Nursing Study Program, the Secretary of the Nursing Study Program, and the team from the Global Engagement of Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Surabaya (Genus).
Prof. Jazidie expresses his pride in Samahana’s achievement and encourages her to make the most of this international learning opportunity.
“This credit transfer program is not only an academic milestone but also a great chance to represent Unusa and Indonesia on a global stage. We hope you gain valuable knowledge and experiences that you can bring back to contribute to the university” he stated.
Samahana also expresses her gratitude for the support from Unusa and her excitement about the upcoming experience at UPM. *”I am truly grateful for this opportunity. I will do my best to make the most of my time at UPM and bring valuable insights back to UNUSA,” she said.
