Malaysia- On February 20th, 2025 Alexandra Giovinna Acnellita, a final-year undergraduate student of English Education Department, Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Surabaya takes a part in THE ASEAN STUDENT MOBILITY PROGRAMME hosted by Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI) bringing together students from various ASEAN countries. This international initiative aims to promote cultural exchange, academic collaboration, and build strong connections among students across the region.

The program begins with an engaging exercise session to energize the participants before starting the day’s activities. “It is a great way to break the ice and get to know each other,” Alexandra shares enthusiastically.

The participants are then taken on a tour around the UPSI campus, exploring its vibrant facilities and learning about the university’s rich history and academic offerings.

The adventure continues at the UPSI Adventure Park, where participants enjoy exciting outdoor activities like kayaking and riding ATVs. To wrap up the unforgettable day, the participants gather for a peaceful stargazing session. “It is a perfect ending to a meaningful day—relaxing under the stars with new friends from across ASEAN,” Alexandra reflected.

The event successfully fosteres cultural exchange, adventure, and friendship among students from different ASEAN countries, leaving everyone with memorable experiences and valuable connections. (nrl/Genus)
