Surabaya – International students studying at Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Surabaya (Unusa), are thrilled to take part in this year’s Summer School program held by Universitas Wijaya Kusuma Surabaya (UWKS).
With the theme “Global Harmony: Embracing Cross-Cultural Connection,” this program provides a valuable opportunity for international students from various universities to connect, share experiences, and immerse themselves in Indonesia’s educational and cultural environment.
The first day (11/02) of the Summer School is filled with exciting activities. Following the opening ceremony, participants have the chance to visit historical sites in Surabaya, including the Dr. Soetomo Museum, Wr. Soepratman Museum, 10 November Museum, and Bung Karno Museum. These visits allow students to gain a deeper understanding of Surabaya’s rich history while enjoying their study experience in Indonesia.
Among the participants from Unusa, four students are actively involved in the program: Leticia Freitas Babo – Master of Applied Nursing; Adirson Barbosa De Oliveira – Master of Applied Nursing; Al-Vandee Ismani Arri – Bachelor’s in Primary School Education; Ofelita Marlin Da Costa Viegas –Bachelor’s in Nursing
This program not only strengthens cross-cultural understanding but also enhances international students’ experiences while studying in Indonesia. With such enriching activities, the Summer School at UWKS is set to leave a lasting impression on all its participants. (adm/genus)
