Surabaya – The Faculty of Economics, Business, and Digital Technology (FEBTD) at Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Surabaya (Unusa) successfully organized International Faculty Mobility Activities (IFMA) 2024 program from June 24-27, 2024. The initiative marked a significant milestone with visits to three prominent campuses in Malaysia. The primary objectives included benchmarking and discussions aimed at fostering international collaboration.

IFMA 2024 facilitated visits to Malaysia’s distinguished universities: University of Malaya (UM), Universiti Malaysia Kelantan (UMK), and Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). Each visit featured academic discussions, exchange of experiences, and campus facility tours.

Throughout the program, FEBTD Unusa delegation focused on benchmarking to gain insights into best practices in faculty management and program administration at the visited universities. Furthermore, discussions on international collaboration were central to the agenda, aiming to explore opportunities for research cooperation, scholarly publications, as well as student and faculty exchange programs.

Dr. Ubaidillah Zuhdi, Dean of FEBTD Unusa, emphasized the significant benefits of IFMA 2024 for institutional development and enhancement of educational quality at Unusa. “Through this program, we aim to expand Unusa’s international network and elevate academic standards through collaborations with renowned Malaysian universities,” he remarked.

IFMA initiative signifies a strategic step towards enhancing educational quality and strengthening international relations. By conducting benchmarking and fostering international collaboration discussions, Unusa aims to continue advancing and competing on a global scale.
