Surabaya, – Two dedicated volunteers from the Global Engagement of Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Surabaya (Unusa) had the honor of serving as buddies for guests from United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF) during the “Temu 101 Ning Dukung Gizi Optimal Balita” event (15/5) held by The Institute for Research and Community Service. The event aimed to address the pressing issue of malnutrition among toddlers in Indonesia.

Amrina Rosyadah, a student of Occupational Health and Safety (K3), and Dimas Indra, a Management student, took on the crucial role of accompanying and assisting UNICEF representatives throughout the event. Their involvement not only showcased the spirit of volunteerism at Unusa but also highlighted the university’s commitment to supporting initiatives that promote the well-being and development of children in Indonesia. Genus continues to foster such opportunities for its students, emphasizing the significance of global exposure and community involvement in addressing global issues.
