Surabaya — Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Surabaya (Unusa) received an official visit from three representatives of the King’s College London Singhasari Scholarship on Monday, July 21, 2025. The visit aimed to follow up on previous discussions and explore potential participation of Unusa graduates in the Targeted LPDP – King’s College London Singhasari Scholarship Programme for the 2025 Master’s intake.
The delegation was warmly welcomed by Unusa’s Vice Rector for Academic and Student Affairs, Prof. Kacung Marijan, Drs., M.A., Ph.D., accompanied by the Head of Global Engagement and the university’s international team. The meeting took place at the Rector’s Meeting Room on the 8th floor of Unusa Tower.
During the discussion, the King’s College London team provided an overview of the scholarship programme, which supports two flagship Master’s degrees designed specifically for Southeast Asia and currently open for the September 2025 intake:
1) MSc Digital Economies (Southeast Asia) – a programme aimed at developing exceptional talent in the fields of digital economy and industrial transformation across Southeast Asia.
2)MA Digital Futures (Southeast Asia) – a multidisciplinary programme that prepares future leaders to address the complex challenges of the digital era.
This visit marked a significant step toward strengthening academic collaboration and expanding global learning opportunities for Unusa students, especially those interested in pursuing advanced studies in digital transformation and leadership.
