Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – On February 25th, students from the ASEAN Mobility Program participate in workshops and seminars at the Grand Lagoon Ballroom, Sunway Resort Hotel. The event gathers approximately 500 student participants from various ASEAN countries.

The workshop and seminar include several forums. Forum 1, titled “Challenges in ASEAN,” features speakers such as Senator Datuk Seri Utama Tengku Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz, Minister of Investment, Trade, and Industry, and Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Mohamed Nazir bin Tun Dato’ Indera Haji Abdul Razak, Chairman of ASEAN-BAC Malaysia.

Forum 2 discusses “Leveraging the Abundance of ASEAN Workforce for Industry 5.0 through TVET.” Meanwhile, Forum 3 focuses on “Empowering ASEAN Higher Education Common Space through Transnational Higher Education.”

The event concludes with a closing ceremony led by YB Dato’ Seri Diraja Dr. Zambry Abd Kadir, Minister of Higher Education.

At the end of the event, Muhazirin Khoeroy, a student from the Diploma in Nursing program at Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Surabaya, shares his experience. He says, “I am very happy to be one of the participants in this seven-day program. I learn many things, collaborate, exchange ideas and innovations, and understand cross-cultural experiences with friends from different ASEAN countries.” (nrl/genus)
