Global Engagement of Nahdlatul Ulama University of Surabaya (GENUS) held the Webinar Season by the theme “Study in Taiwan, a Different Option for Bright Future”. In this opportunity, GENUS collaborates with YES Bahasa Budaya Semarang. It was a second season that had been held by volunteers of GENUS.
It was hold on Saturday, April, 3rd 2021 via Zoom. The speker is Meuthia Cita Sejati, S.S., as education Consultant YES Bahasa Budaya with the moderator Firdausi Zamhariroh Rahmadani student from UNUSA.
Prof. Dr. Ir. Achmad Jazidie, M.Eng told the participants that it is very important for students to have international exposure.
“We know that Taiwan is a big country, many students from Indonesia even from entire the world study there. This event is very important to be conducted to provide the information about how to choose the University, Study program and how to manage the financial or living cost to study in Taiwan.” Said him
This event was conducted once in three months to provide information about study abroad to UNUSA’s student and public. The participants of this event achieve almost three hundred participants. It was started by speech from the rector of UNUSA and then explaining the material and it was closed by praying. In the middle of the event, the participants are also given the quiz from YES Bahasa Budaya and the winners get the prize up to Rp.300.000 each winner. (nrl/adm)
